Re: 2010 Sponsorship Program for the Canadian Institute of Underwriters

Dear Friends,

The generous companies who became Gold or Platinum level donors in 2009 wrote one cheque to become sponsors of all the valuable programs run by the CIU, including the annual conference in the late Spring, the education and comedy event in the Fall, and the education seminar early in the year.

Many of you told us that you like the one-time, annual donation that supports all of the CIU programs throughout the year, so we’re doing it again!

And as they say, membership has its rewards - by becoming a donor member in 2010, your company will receive the following benefits:

GOLD Sponsorship Level
A one-time annual donation of $1,000 (CDN or US) includes:
- 1 free ticket for the education / comedy event (approx cash value $55)
- Your company logo on the CIU website sponsor page
- Your company logo in the program at the annual general meeting
- Your company logo on a sponsorship poster / bulletin board at all CIU events

PLATINUM Sponsorship Level
A one-time annual donation of $1,500 (CDN or US) includes:
- 1 free ticket for the winter education seminar (approx cash value $350)
- 1 free ticket for the education / comedy event (approx cash value $55)
- Your company logo in larger font on the CIU website sponsor page
- Your company logo in larger font in the program at the annual general meeting
- Your company logo in larger font on a sponsorship poster / bulletin board at all CIU events

Once you have chosen your desired sponsorship level, please mark your cheque “SPONSORSHIP” , make it payable to Canadian Institute of Underwriters, and forward to DKCI Events, PO Box 91516 Roseland Plaza, 3023 New Street, Burlington ONTARIO L7R 4L6, Attn: Marian Kingsmill by April 15, 2010.

Smaller cash donations will be gratefully received, but will not receive the recognition noted above. We will also welcome door prizes from your company for appropriate individual events if you wish to participate, and those will be acknowledged at the events.
