Tsunami of Change
June 6-7-8 in Montreal, QC
The CIU 2010 Annual Meeting was held over the
dates of June 6-8, 2010 in the beautiful city of Montréal,
Québec. The meeting opened on Sunday, June 6th with a
welcome Reception and Registration, followed by main stage and
workshop presentations
throughout Monday, June 7th.
Industry Keynote presenter, Mary Grant, Manulife
Financial, spoke on the state of the insurance industry. Renowned
keynote speaker, Stephen Lewis, addressed the congregation on
world humanitarian issues. Main stage presentations continued
throughout Tuesday, June 8th, including the CIU Business Session,
and the ever-popular Three Emdeos Panel presentation.
Highlights of the meeting included: Recent
FALU graduates being honoured, and accepting their Globes,
including special honoree, Erika Miko of Sun Life, who was the
top scoring FALU graduate this past year and 6
workshop presentations on various topics, offered in French
and English, through the excellent presentation skills of our
valued industry speakers. See full

CIU’s special event evening, Monday, June
7th, reception, dinner and revue, featuring the musical comedy
of Bowser and Blue...and CIU’s Hosted FALU Breakfast and
group Luncheon, Tuesday, June 8th.
